Katie Bird is a registered Paint horse that didn’t color. She is a pretty bright bay with minimal white. Granddaughter of Gallo Del Cielo (affectionately known as Rooster) she is double bred Doc Bar and double bred Peppy San Badger on top and bottom. This mare is small - only about 14.3 hands high so she is perfect for a woman or youth. This mare has been everywhere on the ranch, she has doctored cattle in the pasture, drug calves to the fire, team penned with guests, she will get in the dirt and cut a cow, she is a truly amazing all around horse that is extremely agile and quick. Smooth moving, she covers ground in the pasture with a great running walk yet is extremely flexible in the arena. If she was as large as her heart she would be 18 hands tall.
